Mr Rajeev Dubey, India, President (HR, After-Market & Corporate Services) & Member of the Group Management Board of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. will deliver the Caux Lecture at the ‘Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy conference. He will speak on: "Transforming Capitalism with Trust and Integrity - what Corporates and Companies can do."
As a Member of the Group Management Board of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Mr. Dubey’s key focus areas are HR/IR initiatives for the Mahindra Group, the After Market Sector, Corporate Communications and Corporate Infrastructure & Services.
Rajeev Dubey studied Economics at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and at the Delhi School of Economics. He went on to do his MBA from the Yale School of Management, USA as a J N Tata scholar, and was selected as a Distinguished Alumnus of the School. He has recently acquired the GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) certification from the Society of HR Management USA.
In his professional capacity Mr. Dubey has been associated with a number of prestigious Institutes and Committees. Currently he is President of the Mumbai Chapter of the National HRD Network, Member of the CII National Committee on Indian MNCs and Member of the CII Western Regional Council.
He is on the Governing Board and Advisory Council of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and a member of the Advisory Council of Population First, Mumbai Chapter. He is also on the Board of Walchand TalentFirst Ltd.
He is the Chairman of Mahindra Insurance Brokers and Mahindra First Choice Services Ltd. In addition he is on the Boards of several Group companies including Mahindra Ugine Steel, Mahindra Intertrade, Mahindra First Choice and Mahindra Retail. He is Chairman of the CSR Council and Sustainability Council of the Group, and a Member of the Corporate Governance Cell.
Mr. Rajeev Dubey joined Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in January 2004 after a career spanning 29 years in the Tata Group, of which 7 years were as Managing Director and CEO, first of Tata Metaliks and then of Rallis India. Rajeev joined the Tata Administrative Services (TAS), the central managerial cadre of the Tata Group, in 1975. During his tenure of 21 years with Tata Steel he held many senior positions in the Marketing Division, was the Chief Resident Executive in Delhi, and the General Manager (Town Services) in Jamshedpur, before taking over as Managing Director of Tata Metaliks in 1996. He was appointed Managing Director of Rallis India Limited in August 2000, a position he held for 3 years.
He was also a Member of the Executive Committee of Tata Quality Management Services, Tata Sons and the Tata Council for Community Initiatives, Tata Sons.
